50 Cent Gets a Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Seventeen years since the release of his debut album  Get Rich or Die Tryin’ , the multi-faceted rapper-actor-mogul received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday (Jan. 30). Friends including Eminem and Dr. Dre were on hand for the star-studded ceremony near the intersection of Hollywood and Vine. Following some words from former Starz CEO Chris Albrecht, Eminem took the stage to recall the first time he met a young Curtis Jackson. “It just kinda felt like he’s gonna be a star. The way he carried himself, swagger, everything. It just seemed like he was the whole package,” said the Detroit rapper, who signed 50 to Shady Records. Em also reflected on their friendship. “I’m here today because this is not only a business partner to me, it’s one of the best friends I’ve ever known in the world and I would say it’s much more fun to be his friend than it is to be his enemy, ’cause this guy is fucking relentless. Jaden Smith Celebrates ‘Boyfriend’ Tyler the Creator’s Grammy Win

Tyler, the Creator is a Grammy winner and Jaden Smith is celebrating! On Sunday, the rapper, 28, won the best rap album prize for his album  Igor . When accepting his trophy, Tyler (né Tyler Gregory Okonma) said that he had “never fully felt accepted” in the rap music community. Smith, meanwhile, tweeted about Tyler’s big win that night, writing, “My Boyfriend Just Won A Grammy.” Back in November 2018, Smith, 21, sent fans into a frenzy when he claimed that Tyler was his boyfriend while performing at the rapper’s sixth annual Camp Flog Gnaw festival in Los Angeles.

Nicki Minaj's brother sentenced to 25 years to life

    The brother of rapper Nicki Minaj was sentenced Monday to 25 years to life in prison for sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl at his Long Island home. A judge convicted Jelani Maraj of predatory sexual assault and child endangerment in November 2017. The victim testified during the trial that Maraj repeatedly raped her in 2015 while her mother was at work. Prosecutors have said DNA evidence recovered from the girl’s pajama pants was linked to Maraj. The girl’s younger brother also testified at the trial that he witnessed one assault. Maraj's attorney appealed conviction in 2018, claiming that there was jury misconduct. The judge ruled in October that the defense did not meet the necessary burden of proof. Maraj said in court Monday that he had an alcohol problem and asked for a “second chance." One of his attorneys said he suffered from health issues including hypertension, gout and anemia and requested the minimum sentence of 10 years to life. Maraj'

Dangote Plans to Buy Arsenal in 2021

  Aliko Dangote has admitted that he is planning to buy Arsenal Football Club. The Nigerian billionaire - the richest man in Africa - has made no secret of his desire to take over the north London club in the past and has made several statements about launching a future takeover bid in the past. And the 62-year-old Gunners supporter, who is at number 136 on Forbes' rich list, has been speaking up a move for the club again. Now, with the Dangote Refinery still in process, Dangote has altered his plans and made the big claim that he will buy the club sometime in 2021. "I'm not buying Arsenal right now, I'm buying Arsenal when I finish all these projects, because I'm trying to take the company to the next level."

The actress got two nominations 'Best Actress' and 'Best Original Song' for her role in the movie 'Harriet'.       Born  Cynthia Onyedinmanasu Chinasaokwu Erivo,  She is known for her performance as Celie in the   Broadway   revival of   The Color Purple , for which she won the 2016   Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical , the   Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actress in a Musical , the   Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album , and the   Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Musical Performance in a Daytime Program , the latter two she shared with the rest of the cast. Erivo ventured into films in 2018, with roles in the heist film  Widows  and the thriller  Bad Times at the El Royale . In 2019, she portrayed abolitionist Harriet Tubman in the biopic  Harriet.
