Amy Winehouse' Family to get her $4.66 Million Fortune

    Late British singer Amy Winehouse ' Probate documents  showed Wednesday that she left behind assets totaling more than 4.25 million pounds ($6.7 million), with 2.94 million pounds ($4.66 million) remaining after debts and taxes.     The record shows Winehouse did not leave a will,therefore the money will go to her parents. The documents list father  Mitch winehouse  as administrator of the singer's estate. Nothing goes to her ex-husband,  Blake Fielder-Civil , whom she divorced in 2009.      Winehouse shot to fame with her 2006 album "Back to Black," but struggled for years with drug and alcohol abuse. An inquest found she died of accidental alcohol poisoning. The 27-year-old soul diva was found dead in bed on July 23 at her London home.

Bobby Brown Charged With DUI After Previous Arrest,Could Be Jailed

      Bobby brown was charged Wednesday with three misdemeanor charges including drunken driving, two days after his afternoon arrest in suburban Los Angeles.   Brown faces two DUI-related counts and another charge that he was driving on a suspended license.One of the counts alleged the R&B singer had a blood alcohol level of more than .08, which is the level at which is presumed to be driving under the influence.      The agency said Brown was initially stopped because he was seen talking on a cellphone without a hands-free unit, but the officer suspected the singer was impaired. Brown failed a field sobriety test, according to the CHP.    Brown faces up to six months in jail on the DUI counts if convicted. His first court appearance is scheduled for April 16.

Judge Orders Actor Fred Amata To Pay LandLord

Fred Amata   A judge has ordered veteran nollywood actor-director Fred Amata to pay his rent arrears He was ordered by a Surulere Magistrates’ Court in Lagos on wednesday to pay one year rent arrears amounting to N600,000.      The landlord Pa I. Fadoyebo had earlier dragged Amata to court to help him regain possession of  his house from the actor.  Fadoyebo claimed  Amata was owing arrears of rent on the four-bedroom bungalow he was occupying at No 8, Razaq Balogun St., Surulere, adding that the rent had accumulated from October 2009 to September 2010.        Judge Magistrate Mukaila Fadeyi ordered Amata who was not present throughout the court proceedings to pay the arrears within 14 days .      Fadeyi faulted the tenancy agreement signed between both parties, saying it was not dated while the seven-day quit notice was not served on Amata. Fadoyebo had on Feb. 7 testified that Amata was a bad tenant who brought all manners of people into his compound.
