      Rapper MI Abaga has revealed that his long awaited mixtape , Illegal Music 2 will be released on February 16,2012. The date was revealed on twitter moments ago  He tweeted : Ok... Ladies and Gents the oficial release date of Illegal Music is... Hold on one sec Ok... Let's do 16th Februaury... 160212.      MI announced last November he had 19 tracks on the mixtape but wanted  to prune down to 14. The mixtape features artists like S outh african rapper HHP,phenom,yemi alade,SDC,pope ,shaydee  and many more.   He released the first single  Lost off the mixtape    last july.

  Micheal Jackson's Doctor , conrad Murray has filed a legal document asking a judge to free him from jail .        The doctor convicted of  involuntary manslaughter  in  Michael Jackson 's death asked a judge Friday to release him from jail pending his appeal.Dr.  Conrad Murray , who is serving a four-year  jail sentence , said in a declaration that he should be released either on his own recognizance or on bail with electronic monitoring.    He said he is not a danger to society, will not flee the area, and wants to work to help support his seven children.His lawyer,  J. Michael Flanagan , said in the motion that Murray knows he cannot work as a doctor but would find other employment. He suggested the sentence and Murray's mode of confinement is extremely severe for a man with no prior criminal record.      He said Murray is being held in solitary confinement and is chained to a table when he meets with his lawyers. Irving Azoff on Billboard cover       Billboard  magazine has just revealed its first-ever Power 100 list.  Irvin azzof ,C hairman of Live Nation ­, the world's largest promoter, ticketing company and artist management group , is the most powerful person in the music industry.       Azoff topped the first-ever Billboard Power 100 list, a ranking of where power and influence resides in the music business and the industries that intersect with it     Rankings were determined by a combination of key factors including market share, exclusive Billboard chart data/boxscore information, and revenue. The list is U.S. based. As well, the Power 100 puts a premium on the top decision makers at each company.      Artists on the Power 100 include Jay-Z and Beyonce as a power couple at No 13, Taylor Swift at No 78, U2 at No.27, Jon Bon Jovi at No 50 , Lady Gaga at No.84, Birdman at 25.         Azoff's placement at the top of the list is due to his command of the biggest concert-

      Nigerian novelist Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie 's novel 'Half of a yellow Sun" will be turned to a movie soon. Sources including Screendaily.com report that Actor Chiwetel Ejiofor, actress Thandie Newton and dominic cooper have signed on to star in the upcoming screen adaptation.    The filming is scheduled to begin in March and  will be shot in Nigeria,to be directed by Biyi Bandele .  Screen Daily also reports that "UK producers  Andrea Calderwood ( The Last King of Scotland )  and  Gail Egan ( The Constant Gardener )  have recently secured crucial private equity backing from Nigeria in order to move the anticipated project forward.
