Piers Morgan has confirmed he’s tested negative for coronavirus. The 55-year-old Good Morning Britain presenter explained last night that he had taken a test for Covid-19 and would not return to screens until he got the results back.
Taking to Twitter, the father-of-four revealed his doctors advised him to take a test after he showed symptoms.
He wrote: “My Covid-19 test was negative. I was advised to take the test by my doctor after developing possible coronavirus symptoms, and was entitled to do so as a government-designated essential worker.
“I’ll be back on Good Morning Britain as soon as my doctor advises I’m OK to return to work.”
