Boxing legend and Muhammad Ali trainer, Jimmy Glenn dies of coronavirus aged 89

Boxing legend and longtime bar owner Jimmy Glenn has passed away following a battle with coronavirus at the age of 89.

The beloved boxing icon was hospitalized with COVID-19 since mid-April and tragically passed away early Thursday morning, his family announced.  

‘It is with the deepest sadness that I tell everyone that early this morning, Jimmy Glenn, my father, passed away,’ his youngest son Adam said.

Glenn was known for his career as a longtime trainer who worked with greats like Muhammad Ali, Floyd Patterson, Bobby Cassidy, Ralph Correa, Terrence AlIi and Mark McPherson.
